![]() Today's NCAA Basketball Picks:
Game: St. Peters at Loyola Maryland (7:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 4 units on St. Peters +9 (-110) (risk 4 to win 3.6) The Greyhounds have won three-straight games, but are not able to put anyone away. The Greyhounds have played 20 games on the season, and in just one of those contests did they end the game winning by more than 10 points. That gives the Peacocks tons of value coming in here as they have won just once in their last seven games on the season. The big difference is that they are hanging around in all of them, and have not suffered a pointspread loss in any of the seven. The Greyhounds sport a disappointing 5-14 ATS mark against opponents coming into their gym with a .400 or less road mark. The Peacocks are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 on the road. Too many points in this one and the Peacocks hold close as they have done all season. Game: Louisiana Lafayette at Western Kentucky (8:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 3 units on Louisiana Lafayette +13 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7) The Ragin’ Cajuns haven't been much of a rage on the season at all, as they enter this one with a record of 6-11. They have broken through on the road just once on the season at Troy. What they do well is shoot the ball both inside and outside of the arc, and it should supply enough firepower to hold them under an inflated number here. This edition of the Hilltoppers isn't nearly as talented and experienced as the NCAA Tourney team of a year ago. They have now dropped four of their last five to the "reputation" lines the oddsmakers put in front of them. The Cajuns are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 on the road against .600 teams or better, while Western Kentucky is 1-5 ATS after a win. The Cajuns keep this one under the number and I'll back them here. Game: New Orleans at Troy (8:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 4 units on New Orleans +7.5 (-110) (risk 4 to win 3.6) As pointed out before, the men from Troy allowed the Ragin’ Cajuns their only road win of the season and have also lost at home to Centenary, so the Trojans haven't exactly been burning up the hardwood. The Privateers held their own on the road at Western Kentucky, dropping that contest by just 10. These teams are very evenly matched, and this looks like a live dog to me. The Trojans have been bankrupting backers to the tune of a 9-20-1 ATS mark in their last 30, while the Privateers have cashed seven of 10 against teams that have a home winning percentage of .600 plus. I like the dog here, so the Privateers get the call. Game: Southeast Missouri State at Tennessee Martin (8:30 PM Eastern) Pick: 3 units on Southeast Missouri State +19.5 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7) At 3-16 and winless on the road, there is not much to like about what SEMO has done on the season. What is to like is the 3-1 ATS mark when they are a huge dog of 15 or more - winners in the last three. Tennessee Martin has won 10 of 11, but it is easy to see how they are a no-show for this one. They are off back-to-back big road wins over Jacksonville State and Tennessee Tech, especially with Eastern Illinois on deck a team that is front of them in the standings by just a half-game. SEMO is hanging tough against big numbers, and Martin is caught in a void between big games. This spells a dog cover here. Game: Oregon State at California (10:30 PM Eastern) Pick: 3 units on Oregon State +19 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7)
