Game: Illinois at Ohio State (9:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Illinois +6.5 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7)
This certainly is not a vintage Illinois team. They enter with just one road win and a losing record on the season. Even though they haven't put as many in the win column as they would have liked, they remain highly competitive. They lost to Duke by just 13 points, Wisconsin by 10, Maryland by eight, Indiana by four points, took Arizona to OT, beat Missouri, and a 14-3 Arizona State team by 23 points. They may be catching Ohio State at the right time. Ohio St. may have had their confidence shaken a bit by dropping their last three, but more importantly, they are coming off of two very intense games against Michigan State and Tennessee. While Illinois has proven to play competitive against anyone, Ohio St. may not have a full tank for this one tonight. A prime spot for Illinois to steal one here, so we will take the points.
