Penn has become the Ivy League king pin as Princeton has fallen off a bit. Penn has dominated this series as LaSalle has struggled to win games period - let alone against good teams. Penn has won the last five meetings by no less than five points and an average of 12.2-ppg. LaSalle has no star players and Penn is a well balanced team featuring four double digit scorers. It looks to us like a comfortable win for Penn.

Marist has gotten out of the gate at 13-4, but has struggled a bit on the road, losing to Loyola, Maryland and needing overtime to get by Siena. Niagara got off to a poor 1-6 start but since getting their best player Charron Fisher back they have gone 8-2. Fisher is a difference maker averaging 22.8 points per game (PPG),  and seven boards. Niagara is not just a one man show as all five starters average double figures. We look for this improving Niagara team to spring the mild upset.

Cleveland State got back into the win column with a win over Detroit at home. Wright State has now won six of their last seven games - the sole loss to Butler. The problem for Wright State is all six of those wins were at home and now they travel to Cleveland Sttate. Wright State is just 1-6 in their last seven road games this season. The lone win came at Saint Bonaventure by two points. Wright State has has lost 29 of their last 38 games on the road while Cleveland State, who is not a good team, is much better at home winning 9 of their last 16 games. Hard to take a team that doesn't win on the road over a team that has been decent at home.

Missouri State is playing like they have a chip on their shoulder and they do. After getting snubbed by the NCAA last season, Missouori State has a second chip and that is revenging a rare home loss at the hands of Northern Iowa last season. Missouri State is shooting a sizzling 55% at home and an equally sizzling 45% from beyond the arc. They also defend extremely well in their building at 39.4%. Missouri State has blown out every opponent that has stepped in their building this season and have extra motivation for this one.

Austin Peay has now won seven straight games and they will face a Tennessee Martin team that stands at just 5-14. Tennessee Martin has always been one of those teams that can't win on the road (1-7 in the league last year, 1-3 so far this year), but is a very different team at home. Tennessee Martin is 8-4 in the league at home during that same period. They lost at Austin Peay earlier by 14-points so revenge will be on their minds. Keep in mind they lost to Morehead State by 22-points on the road this year but by just two points at home, so they played like a completely different team. Take the small home dog in this one.
