Furman comes in standing at just 7-9, but Wofford has been absolutely horrible. Wofford began a season of hope with a 4-1 record but has dropped 11-games in a row to Division-1A teams. Wofford has managed to cover just one game with a posted line of under +9.5 the entire season. Furman has managed to do well against the teams they are superior to, as they are a perfect 5-0 against the spread over teams with a losing record.

Appalachian State lost at home to lowly Elon and you know they will come out breathing fire in this game. Appalachian State has just three losses on the season and each game after a loss they came out very hungry and strong. Appalachian State followed those losses with wins by 13, 40 and 15-points. Western Carolina has been a mediocre 7-9 and has not fared well in this role. They are 2-7 ATS as a road dog of between 7 and 12.5-points. We look for a great shooting Appalachian State team to win big at home tonight. 

Missouri State is among the elite in the Missouri Valley Conference and probably the best offensive team in the conference. This is a very home-court dominated league but Illinois State has not been able to establish that against the top teams in the league. Last year Illinois State played Creighton tough, but lost to the other top teams by 11, 12, 13, 15 and nine points. One of those home losses was to Missouri State by 11-points. Missouri State has already displayed the ability to win in tougher MVC gyms than this one with a convincing win over Bradley. We don't see Illinois State staying in this one.
