It has been a while since Rutgers has had a team that found a way to be competitive on the road. They have been a horrific 13-50 in their last 63 road contests. Last year they won 4 games on the road because they had Quincy Douby. They will be hard pressed to match that this year. It is a problem taking to the road and finding a way to be competitive when you shoot around 40%, and 2 of 3 of your leading scorers shoot under 37%. It puts a lot of pressure on the team. Cincinnati is 8-3 at home, and they came close to Clemson the only remaining undefeated team in college basketball on the road. This game has blowout potential, and we see at least a double digit home win for Cincinnati.

Tennessee is heading for the NCAA tournament as is Mississippi State. Tennessee blew out Mississippi St. last year on the road so we look for a focused State team to hang around in this one til the end. Tennessee only shoots 45% from the floor and depends on 3-pt. shooting to give them the edge. That has been the strength of Mississippi St. as they are tops in the country defending the 3 at 24.3%! They can also defend inside as they have allowed just 36.5% overall. This game should be close start to finish, and we will grab the points here.

Both of these teams have fallen on hard times after a strong start. While both own similar overall records, this one is about location. All three of Missouri State's losses have come on the road. They are a perfect 7-0 here at home. Wichita is the same. They are 6-1 at home but just 4-3 on the road. Missouri State is a very solid 22-10 ATS the past two seasons as a favorite so they don't usually let down.
