Ncaa Final Four Predictions - January 05, 2010
We went 3-0 last night on our 5-unit picks (one push) adding +12 units to our CBB run over the last month. Durnig that time we are 72-56 for +38 units. With last night's winners, we are now profitable on the season. Today we are back with a pair of premium CBB picks including another 5-unit play.

Game: Minnesota at Purdue (7:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 5 units on Minnesota +9 (-110) (risk 5 to win 4.6)
The Purdue Boilermakers remain one of five teams still unbeaten and have a Final Four look as long as they keep Robbie Hummel healthy. The Golden Gophers are no lay down team as this is a team that can stay in the game because they can come at you in a lot of ways on the offensive end, and they have been in the 80s in six of their last seven. They feature six of their top seven scorers at or over 50% on the season, and will be hard to slow down. This is a team that is 10 deep, so they will have fresh legs on the floor at all times. This is a big number vs. a competent team, so I'm going with Minnesota to stay close here.
Game: Central Florida at Mississippi (8:00 PM Eastern)Pick: 3 units on Central Florida +16 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7)
The Rebels come into this one flying high with an 11-2 mark, but the two setbacks were in their two big tests. They are 7-0 at home and quite often, and is the case here, these BCS Conference teams are over-priced against the lesser conferences. This will be the Rebels’ last tune up before taking on archrival Mississippi State, and no doubt they already have one eye on that game. Central Florida never plays fast, and most other notable games on their schedule saw the opponents in the 60s at best, making a large inflated number a tough task to tackle. I'll go with Central Florida here.
