Drexel has to be the surprise team in the Colonial thus far, and after playing in three Big 5 games, they certainly are pressure tested. GA Southern gives up 75 ppg to teams of lesser ability than Drexel, and it would appear that this total may be set a bit to low. The home team usually finds a way to get some points, but when they give them up at a high rate, and there is a competent opponent, the likelihood is that this game will soar over the modest total.

DePaul will open up Big East play at St. John's. The Redstorm are off a 12 point loss at home to Hofstra, while DePaul has been hot winning five straight. They are led by a scoring duo of Mejia, and Chandler, which will give St. John's a handful. Mejia is fresh off a 40 point performance. St. John's has defended well, but has had close games at home vs untalented teams, and a loss at home to Hofstra by 12 is tell-tale. This team is still being built, and we look for DePaul to come away with the win in this one.

These are teams that are heading in opposite directions. The St. Bonaventure program has a long way to go. They have now dropped 8 straight, and are just 1-6 at home, and they will face a surging St. Louis program that has gotten off to a 10-3 start. The Bonnie's are getting out rebounded by 5 a game, and shoot only 39.9% from the floor, and that will not get it done tonight, against a very good St. Louis team.
