Free Basketball Picks - February 22, 2009

We notched a winning day yesterday going 4-3. We're 70-55 over the past six weeks. Today we roll with one pick in the Wake-Duke game...

Today's NCAA Basketball Picks:

Game: Wake Forest at Duke (7:45 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Game Total UNDER 150.5 -110 (risk 3 to win 2.7)

Two ACC heavyweights collide at Cameron Indoor tonight as Duke looks to get back some respect they have lost recently. Wake has put together back-to-back victories and a third here would really boost them in the rankings. But Duke is looking for revenge for a 2-point loss to the Deacs last month and Duke is 14-1 here at home. The Blue Devils have also covered the spread in ten straight games vs. Wake Forest here at Cameron. Where I'll focus is on the total as I like this game to go UNDER the total. Duke plays great defense at home where they are allowing just 61.8 ppg. They have posted a 9-5 UNDER mark here and an 8-3 UNDER mark in conference games this year. Wake has kept two straight opponents in the 60s. I like this one to go UNDER.
