We rate each pick 1 to 5 units with 5 being the strongest play (read about units).
Risk 1% of your bankroll per unit (never risk more than 5% of total bankroll on any pick).
Game: Austin Peay at Tennessee Tech (7:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 units on Tennessee Tech -3.5
Both of these teams have dominated opponents at home and Tennessee Tech will enter this one with an 11-1 home record. They played well in a seven-point loss at Austin Peay. Tenn. Tech has done it at both ends of the floor at home. Tenn. Tech is averaging 80-ppg, while stingy on defense, yielding just 39.5% FG shooting and an impressive 29.6% from three-point range. They have also dominated the glass at home out-rebounding all of their last six opponents by 6.3-boards per game. That spells trouble for Austin Peay, who has been out-rebounded by 10.25 per game in their last four on the road! Tennessee Tech is also 10-2 ATS revenging a same season loss, while Peay has had difficulty getting over a double-digit loss, going just 5-16 ATS. There is no place like home!
Game: Georgia St. at George Mason (7:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 units on George Mason -16
There has been one constant in the Colonial Conference this year with these two teams. Georgia State has played four league games against teams .500 or better. They have lost by margins of 27, 29, 35 and 16 points, or an average of 26.8 – points per game (PPG)! George Mason has played four conference games at home vs. teams under .500. The results had the following margins of victory: Mason won by 30, 25, 21 and 21 points an average of 24.3-ppg. Now these teams match-up. One team awful on the road against good teams, the other great at home vs. poor teams. Give the bundle.
Game: N. Iowa at Bradley (8:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 units on N. Iowa +7.5
Northern Iowa has really watched their season go up in flames. They started 13-2, but have been just 3-10 since. Bradley owns a lot of wins over some soft teams. This N. Iowa team played at Nevada, ranked in the top 10, and was an 8.5-point underdog. Now they are playing in conference against Bradley and are posted as a +7.5? That line shows where the value is in this game. Bradley is just 5-9 vs. top 100 teams, so getting eight points in this one is huge! As poorly as N. Iowa has played of late, they have held their own in most games, and is 6-7 vs. top 100 teams. This is a classic overlay so we will jump-in on a road team that is very capable.
