Today's NCAA Basketball Picks:

Game: Fairfield at Manhattan (7:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Manhattan +2 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7)

Fairfield is 17-8 while Manhattan is just 9-16. Yes, this is nearly a pick-‘em game. The oddsmakers know something and I agree with them that Manhattan could really surprise here. The Stags are 10-2 at home, but on the road they are pedestrian. This team has struggled to put together back-to-back wins as they have traded wins and losses now for seven straight games. They are coming off a win over a conference rival and they are 0-6 ATS in that situation dating back to last season. They now must face a Jaspers team that has won two of their last three straight-up and ATS. While the offense struggles, the Manhattan defense has played great all season. At home they have held opponents to just 59.5 points per game and I think their defense will keep them in this one. I like the Jaspers at home here.
