Today's NCAA Basketball Picks:

Game: Richmond at Rhode Island (7:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 4 units on Richmond +5.5 (-110) (risk 4 to win 3.6)

A pair of Atlantic-10 teams clash in Kingston, RI tonight with major NCAA Tournament implications. URI has surprised everyone with a 19-3 mark on the season, while Richmond at 18-6 has been above expectations as well. The Spoders are off their most impressive win of the season in dismantling Temple at home by 17 and have now won and covered four straight and playing extremely well. Rams have struggled at the top of the conference losing to Temple and beating Dayton  by just one. Spiders have carried a big bite as a dog where they are 36-14-1 ATS in their last 51, while the Rams at 0-7 ATS at home vs teams with a winning road record. I'll go with Richmond here.

The Georgia Bulldogs have taken the donut on the road this season coming into this one at 0-7. The reality of that situation is their inability to score on the road as they have averaged just 64.4ppg. The Auburn Tigers are a struggling team as well, under .500 and losers in six of their last eight. The Tigers offense looks better than it is with their last five prior to conference play showing 90.2ppg, but since conference play has begun 20ppg has been trimmed off those numbers. Auburn has now played seven of their last nine as a favorite up to 6.5 points to the under and this series has seen nine of the last 12 meetings played to the under as well. I'll play this one UNDER the posted total.
