Wofford has been one of the hottest teams around in covering the point-spread as they have taken the money in eight straight games. Appalachian State has had a highly successful year and has NCAA tournament aspirations. These teams played to a 60-59 game on this court last year and App St. coach Fancher, is 17-8 UNDER lifetime vs. teams with a losing record. App St. has also slowed things down over the last three games scoring just 123-points per game (PPG), not counting OT. We look for this game to fall well short of the high total posted in this contest.

Northern Illinois broke a long eight game losing streak with a home win over Bowling Green. They must now step onto the road where they have lost 12 straight games. Ohio U. stands at 9-0 at home, so these teams are clearly miles apart. Ohio U. can't afford to play around in this one as they have three conference losses and we expect them to come out fast and furious and put this game away early.

This will be for all the regular season marbles in the Missouri Valley Conference. Both of these teams have separated themselves from the pack and this match up is likely the Championship game. Creighton has been hot of late but on the season stand at just 5-6 on the road. Southern Illinois on the other-hand, is 11-0 at home and an amazing 76-3 SU at home over the last six years. During this time period, Creighton has had some very good teams but has not won here. We look for the huge home-court advantage and a very good S. Illinois team to continue their home dominance and come away with a comfortable win.

A battle of the top two teams in the Horizon Conference tonight as 11-1 Butler squares off with 11-2 Wright State. This is a huge game for Wright St. as it would give them a quality win and also the lead in the Horizon. Wright St. has really been a top team at home with just one loss on the season and has been 29-12 ATS on this court over the last 41 games. Wright St. has been sticky on defense at home yielding just 40% FG shooting. This is a game that should be tight from start to finish and if Wright St. needs to put the game away late at the FT line they shoot 78% at home. We will go with the points in this one.

It wasn't too long ago that teams that played on the road during the Penn vs. Princeton weekend in the Ivy League got totally punished. Penn still holds onto that end of the deal. At this point, Princeton should not be favored by double digits against anyone. This is what we call a "reputation" line - one they have earned in the past but not based on anything they are doing in the present. Dartmouth has held their own in the Ivy outside of their game with Penn. As hard as it is to believe, Princeton is an OT win away from starting 0-5 in Ivy League play. We will take the bundle in what is sure to be a very low scoring game.
