We rate each pick 1 to 5 units with 5 being the strongest play (read about units).
Risk 1% of your bankroll per unit (never risk more than 5% of total bankroll on any pick).
Game: Fairfield at Marist (7:30 PM Eastern) Pick: 3 units on Fairfield +9
Here we get a team that has won seven in a row getting a bushel of points. They lost just one of those ATS. On top of that, their opponent has lost six straight games ATS! Against common opponents, Fairfield is 7-6 ATS while Marist is just 5-7. Fairfield, again a big dog, has the better defense! We'll take the team that is playing much much better getting 9 points.
Game: Louisiana Tech at San Jose State (10:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 3 units on San Jose State -2.5
San Jose State is a bad team. They have won just three of twenty two games. On the surface, Louisiana Tech looks better having won 7 of 22 games. But, at home San Jose has gotten two wins in five games and they've covered the spread in four of those seven games. On the road, Louisiana Tech is just 2-12. So San Jose, at home, has an edge here. They are seeking revenge for a horrible loss to Louisiana Tech on January 4th. San Jose State has actually done quite well in January and February having coverd eight of ten games! While it hasn't shown up in the W-L stats yet, this team has turned it around and in a winnable game, with revenge, they will show it.
Game: Nevada at Fresno State (10:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 3 units on Nevada -3
Number 11 Nevada heads to Fresno coming in off a dissapointing win against Hawaii. In a game they should have nothced a blowout, they squeaked by. They will be focused here to make sure they avoid another close one. They handled Fresno State by 10 points in mid January in Reno and should be able to cover this small number as they play great on the road. They are 9-1 SU and 8-2 ATS away from home this season. Fresno is 12-2 at home but just 6-6 ATS. Versus common opponents this year, Nevada is 11-0 while Fresno is just 8-4. With Mark Fox at the helm, the Wolfpack are 18-8 ATS vs. top-level teams (60%+ SU). The past three seasons Fresno is 1-10 ATS revenging a double-digit road loss.
