Connecticut is getting a lot of respect from reputation but they have yet to deliver on the court. Saturday at home vs. a weak Rutgers team playing without their best player, they choked off a five point lead in the last 19 seconds and needed OT to win at home. They have shot the ball very poorly against good teams. They have played eight games against good teams on the season and as of yet, they have not shot above 39% in any of them and average just 35.5% in those games. At this point, Syracuse is a much better team and the one thing UConn has struggled against this season is a zone defense and that is all they will see tonight against Syracuse. UConn has averaged losing to the point-spread by 8-ppg a sure sign of a team that is rated on reputation and not their play on the court. Wrong team favored.

What a difference a year makes. The last four years Wisconsin Milwaukee has been in the post season and creating upsets. This year the team is very young and rebuilding. After a slow start, Wright State is making a statement of their own to find themselves "dancing," come March. They are 13-3 in their last 16 games and they will be playing this game with revenge on their minds as Wisconsin Milwaukee beat them by four points earlier this season. Wright State has beaten its last five opponents by double digits at home and Wisc-Milw has lost 8 of 12 on the road by double digits and is just 1-11 overall on the road. We look for Wright State to put one on Wisc-Milw tonight so we will lay the wood here.

New Mexico State comes into this game an impressive 18-4. They have feasted at home but truly have struggled on the road vs. good teams. Their road wins are over teams with a combined record of 38-76 and have beaten these five teams by a grand total of 32 points or just six points a game. They have four road losses to teams that are just 46-46 and as a whole out-score opponents by less than a point per game on the road and the combined record of these teams is 84-122. This will by far be the toughest road test they will have had all season. Utah State is dominating at home as they have been 117-8 in their last 125 games here and three of those eight losses were by one point! They shoot 51.2% at home and 44% from three-point range and connect on 76% of their FTA which is not a strength of this New Mexico State team as they shoot just 61.7% on the road from the line. Utah State is 10-0 at home this season and we look for them to make it 11-0 tonight.
