These teams are both capable of playing fast or slow but both are more adept at a slower paced game. When they play scoring teams they score, when they play teams that don't push the tempo they play a half-court game. Both of these teams average in the 60-point range but those numbers are pushed up by games with very up-tempo teams and the pace will be much different in this one. Dayton is 5-1 to the UNDER off of an ATS win while Saint Joe's is 23-11 to the UNDER as a home favorite as well as being 19-8 after a SU loss.

Saint Peter's has really struggled to find the win column this season as they have now lost 13-games straight and stand at 3-18. It is often on the horrible teams that you find the line value as the odds-makers are forced to pad the line or they would get no action on the team. The season has been bad in terms of finding wins but this team is not getting blown out. They were early in the season and suffered some big losses but since conference play began they have not won but have been highly competitive. The last six games have all been within double digits including a game at Marist where Saint Peter's was previously beaten by double digits seven times. So as the team improves, the line against them goes up which for us means that it is the time to jump in! They have done this by slowing things down much the way Iona has done which played a game at Siena in the low 120-point range. We not only look for this one to play closer than the 14-points but we also look for Saint Peter's to shorten the game and make this contest go UNDER.
