Game: Orlando at Atlanta (8:15 PM Eastern)

The NBA playoffs have revealed some things to consider going forward. It would be hard to argue against one of those revelations, and that is the fact that Orlando has looked the part of a champion, more so than any other team to this point. They have completely dismantled the Hawks through the first three games, and have been winning by a staggering 29 points per game. Many thought that Atlanta would respond coming home in game three, but a 30-point loss has to leave them dead and buried here. There is also a situation brewing for a low-scoring first half, as teams that have allowed an opponent to shoot 50% or higher in three straight games, have come back to play UNDER in the first half of their next game to a 251-170 mark. That is right around 60% of the time. I'll go with Orlando and the first-half UNDER.

Unlike the Hawks, the Jazz have been in every game vs. the Lakers, but haven't been able to break through. They have had leads in all three games, but haven't been able to close, and I expect that to change tonight. The Jazz are the NBA's best team when posted as a home favorite of 4.5 points or less, failing to cover just six times in the last 32 in this situation. They have also bounced back from an ATS loss by going 20-6 ATS in their last 26. The Lakers’ inconsistency has led them to a 2-11 ATS mark following an ATS win. Playoffs games have for a longtime had a defensive signature and going back 14 years, NBA playoffs game first-half totals have gone UNDER to a 1210-918 mark! That is a lot of games, and a lot of first-half UNDERs. I'll go with Utah and the first-half UNDER.
