Today's NBA Basketball Picks:
Game: Indiana at Atlanta (3:30 PM Eastern)
Pick: 4 units on Indiana +8 (-110) (risk 4 to win 3.6)
Don't look now, but the Pacers have won five in a row. They have shown that they are not giving up on the season. Last game they were down at half by 7 to the Jazz but fought back to win the game by 16 points. During their winning streak they have averaged 109 points per game while allowing just 95. So, getting 8 points here is a gift. The Pacers have covered 17 of their last 24 games including 11 of 14 in March. After a game in which they scored 110+ this season, they are 10-2 ATS. I like how Indiana is playing and I like them to stay within this large number.
Game: Chicago at Detroit (6:00 PM Eastern)Pick: 3 units on Chicago +2 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7)
The Detroit Pistons have fallen hard and fast and look to be nearing rock-bottom. They are off a loss to the New Jersey Nets who have but eight wins on the season, running the winless streak to seven games. They are now 2-14 over their last 16, and have appeared to quit. They are also just 3-11 ATS over this stretch, dropping 7 straight ATS as well. The Bulls know a bit about losing as they are off a recent 10-game slide, but have put things back together as they are winners of three in their last four. The Bulls are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 vs. a team with a losing record, while the Pistons are 18-41-1 ATS after a straight-up loss. Chicago gets this one.
Results: 1-1

The Nets could be on their way to the worst team in NBA history in spite of the fact that they have played a tad better of late. This team has fared well getting a bundle of points, but when you reduc...
