Free Nba Expert Pick - March 26, 2010
We brought home another winning night on the NBA floor last night as the Clippers won outright as a +7 point dog over Houston.
Our NBA picks are rolling over the last two and a half weeks as we are hitting 74% at 23-8, good for +43 units. Today we take to the NBA court with a trio of plays including another 5-unit selection. Our 5-unit NBA, CBB and NHL picks are 113-68 (62%) on the season.

Game: Sacramento at Boston (7:30 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Sacramento +12 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7)
The Sacramento Kings have played well at home. And looking at the ledger, it may appear that they are a horrible road team with only seven road wins on the season. That is true from a win/loss perspective but not ATS. Put this team on the road taking double-digits and they are 8-1 ATS this season, with the lone loss occurring all the way back in October! The Celtics are just the opposite as they have gotten crushed as double-digit chalk, with the last win coming before Christmas, and are 0-6 ATS since as a chalk of 10+. I'll go with Sacramento here.
Game: Detroit at New Jersey (8:00 PM Eastern)Pick: 3 units on Detroit +1.5 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7)
The New Jersey Nets have played much better of late, but with just eight wins on the season it’s hard to find any value with them in the favorite role. Despite the better play, some revealing numbers jump off the page regarding this New Jersey team. Give them 8 points or more, and they are 11-1 ATS in their last 12. Post them as a favorite, or give them 7.5 or less they are just 2-10-1 ATS. The Pistons aren't setting the world on fire, but certainly bring more to the table than the hapless Nets, and with just winning the game and nothing else to worry about, I'll go with the Pistons here.
Game: Miami at Milwaukee (8:30 PM Eastern)Pick: 5 units on Milwaukee -140 (moneyline) (risk 5 to win 3.6)
The Bucks looked doomed after a 4-15 stretch, but they have really come together and have been a vastly improved team as witnessed by their 15-3 mark over their last 18 games. They have also been 15-3 at home in their last 18. Miami has a losing road record on the season, and stand just 1-9 straight-up in their last 10 on the road vs. a team with a winning record. That paints a value-laden picture looking at the moneyline here at under 2-1 odds when the Bucks have cashed 83% of their last 18 at home, and the Heat just 10% of their last 10 on the road vs. a team with a winning record. I'll grab the Bucks here on the moneyline.
