Nba Free Predictions - March 24, 2010

We had a monster day yesterday going 9-1 (90%) in ALL SPORTS for +29.3 units of profit.  This puts our NBA picks at 20-7 and 74% over the past two weeks for +36.9 units of profit. Today we look to continue the stride with three premium picks including two 4 unit selections.

Today's NBA Basketball Picks:

Game: Orlando at Atlanta (7:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 4 units on Atlanta -1 (-110) (risk 4 to win 3.6)

This line is testament of just how far the Atlanta Hawks have come over the last few years and they continue to improve. The Hawks have dropped just seven all season at home and two of those were in overtime. It stands to reason that they will, at the very least, be in a position to win this game in the fourth quarter. The Magic have been playing well, but they have not had a serious road challenge in six weeks, when they lost to Cleveland. The Magic have not responded vs the very good home teams as they have been 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 vs a home team with a winning percentage of over .600 on their own court. This one goes to Atlanta.

The Denver Nuggets have dropped two straight games and overall have been a poor road team entering here under .500. The Celtics will be playing with revenge here and, more importantly, they seem to be over their mid-season doldrums and injury issues. The Celtics responded by taking two of three on a road swing vs all winning teams. The Nuggets level of play has dropped off lately, resulting in an 0-5 ATS record in their last five games. The Celtics are 9-3 ATS as a favorite of 4.5 or less, playing with revenge here while the Nuggets have covered just two of the last seven trips to Boston. I'll ride with the Celtics here.

The Nets have played better basketball of late, but the reality is they are still falling short and have just seven wins on the season, making this line is a bit suspect.  Despite just seven road wins by the Kings, this is a spot where they have a very good shot at number eight. When getting 7.5 or less, The Nets have gone 0-8 ATS in their last eight games and while taking more than 7.5 they are 11-1 ATS in their last 12. The value sure doesn't lie in the hands of the Nets in this situation and the Kings have been exceeding expectations on the road where they are now 5-0 ATS in their last five games. I'll go with Sacramento here.
