Game: Sacramento at Atlanta (7:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 units on Atlanta +2.5
Atlanta will enter this game off of back-to-back road losses, and have now lost seven straight on the road. The good news is that the game is in Atlanta tonight, where the Hawks have won four in a row, and have covered 6 of their last 7 as a home dog. Five of those last seven, including the last four have been wins outright. They have a little extra motivation for this one. They lost at Sacramento by 25 points earlier in the year, and have dropped seven straight to the Kings. Sacramento has won four straight at three different points of the season, and has lost four straight at three different points of the season. Currently, the Kings have dropped 5 of their last 6, and are in a down cycle right now. Atlanta has been money at home, so we will back them in this one.
Game: Boston at New Orleans (8:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 units on Boston +5 Pick: 2 units on Game Total OVER 191 -110
Boston is an easy team to play against because they have the stigma of the long losing streak this season. Despite the meager win totals, the Celtics have been the best road team in the NBA in terms of making money! They have been 17-3 ATS in their last 20 on the road, and when playing a team that is sub .500 they are 10-0 ATS in their last 10. Green is averaging 15-points per game (PPG), and Jefferson is scoring22.1-ppg and 11.5-rebounds per game over the last third of the season. That output takes pressure of Pierce, so the Celts young players have really emerged, despite all the injuries. Boston went from scoring 100+ points in just 2 of 16, to reaching the century mark in 9 of their last 17. New Orleans has been giving up points in a big way, having allowed 100+ now in 7 of 9 games, so we will also play the OVER here.
