Today's NBA Basketball Picks:

Game: New Jersey at New York Knicks (7:30 PM Eastern)
Pick: 4 units on New York Knicks -290 (moneyline) (risk 4 to win 1.4)

The New Jersey Net have stopped playing defense and looks like this team is ready to pack it in. They are just 1-6 in their last seven games and are allowing 110.6ppg in the seven game stretch. That isn't a good thing coming to New York and facing a Knicks team that has scored 100+ in 26 of their last 27 games and have now won three out of four losing only to Cleveland. All you need to know here is that New Jersey is 1-19 straight up when they allow 100+ points in a game the last 20 they have seen the opponent reach the century mark. Knicks on the moneyline here.

The Phoenix Suns fell apart for awhile as they dropped six straight, but have it back together and have won their last two straight. The Philaelphia 76ers are coming off a huge emotional win against the Lakers last night that saw the Lakers uncharacteristically blow a double-digit lead in the 4th quarter. It is quite likely the Sixers come out flat here and Phoenix scores in bunches and could build a lengthy early lead here, too much for another comeback. I'll go with Phoenix on the moneyline in this one.

This might be classified as the battle of the inept as the Clipers and Wizards clash in LA, both with over 50 losses on the season already. The Wizards haven't won too many on the road with just five wins, but when you look where they get them in places like Minnesota and Sacramento, the bottom feeders of the NBA, this season they certainly have not only the ability to hang inside a sizable number but win the game. The Clippers have put just one of their last nine in the win column so for them to be a sizable favorite here has absolutely no value. I'm taking the points and going with Washington here.
