Nba Picks Free - March 11, 2008

Today's NBA Basketball Picks:
Game: Milwakuee at Washington (7:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Washington -6.5 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7)
Milwaukee, 6-26 on the road this season, is without two starters here (Mo Williams and Yi Jianlian). They have lost five of six. Washington is also banged up but they are a better team, and they are at home. They are also in the playoff hunt. The Wizards give up 96.2 ppg here at home while the Bucks allow 105.3 per game on the road (and 110.4 over their last five games). Milwaukee beat Washington by three points at the end of January and losing teams revenging an upset loss are 60-32 (65%) ATS the past five seasons.
Game: Portland at Minnesota (8:00 PM Eastern)Pick: 3 units on Minnesota +1.5 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7)
Portland's season can be broken down into three parts. They began the season at 5-12, going 0-9 on the road. They then caught fire and played to a 23-8 mark and went 8-5 on the road. Since then they are the team that they were at the beginning of the season going 5-11 and just 3-7 on the road. Portland is one again the team they were at the beginning of the season and that version of the Blazers is 10-23 and 3-16 on the road. That isn't the type of team that is favored on the road. The T-Wolves had won just two games on the road all year and have now have won two straight road games and will be a confident group tonight. The T-Wolves are an improved team having gone 15-9 ATS over their last 24, after opening 13-24 ATS. They have also gone 5-1 ATS as a small home favorite or a small dog of four or less. They are competing at a much higher level. We will ride them at home tonight.
Game: Utah at Chicago (8:30 PM Eastern)Pick: 4 units on Utah -3.5 (-110) (risk 4 to win 3.6)
Utah needs to prove they can win on the road. What better opportunity than this one? The Jazz are just 14-19 away from home but they are clicking rightn ow having won five straight games by an average margin of 18.2 points! They are shooting 55.6% from the field over the span. This is an important game for the Utah because, as mentioned, they need to start winning on the road. The Bulls have allowed 116 points in each of their last two games and that doesn't bode well here agains the high-scoring Jazz. Utah is 26-17 ATS this season when the total is 200+. They should get another win and cover here.
Game: Toronto at Los Angeles Lakers (10:30 PM Eastern)Pick: 4 units on Game Total OVER 212.5 -110 (risk 4 to win 3.6)
The Lake show is putting up points faster than Phoenix, Denver, Golden State or any other team right now. They have averaged 112.7 points per game over their last 19. The Raptors come in with the hottest offensive stretch they have shown all season as they are putting up an impressive 107 ppg over their last 12 games. Toronto is 50-29 OVER the past three seasons revenging a loss and 19-9 OVER following an ATS loss this season. This one has the makings of a track meet, and we will ride two clicking offenses to push this one over the posted total.
