Today's NBA Basketball Picks:

Game: Orlando at Boston (1:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 4 units on Boston -3.5 (-110) (risk 4 to win 3.6)

Two of the top teams in the east clash in what should be a good game in Boston. The Celtics have taken care of Orlando twice already this season as they aren't intimidated by Dwight Howard. Boston is already assured of the playoffs but they remain a half game behind Cleveland for the top spot and the all-important home court advantage. This is a good matchup for Boston who has held Orlando under 100 points in four straight meetings, holding them to an average of just 88.8 points per game. Since the Big Three have been here, Boston is 80-59 ATS as a favorite including 20-9 ATS against teams at .700 or better. The Celtics have the better offense, the better defense, home court advantage and motivation, so laying -3.5 points here is not a problem. 

Phoenix needs a win here to avoid going 0-4 on this road stand. If that's not enough motivation, Phoenix is playing with double-revenge motivation. The last game they allowed San Antonio to beat them in their own house and score 114 points. The Phoenix offense has averaged 122 points per game since the coaching change. And, it's working as they are 7-4 ATS over that span. Back to the revenge angle... Phoenix is 33-19 ATS over the past three seasons revenging a same-season loss. I like Phoenix to work really hard and keep this one within striking distance and get the cover.

This game will likely get very ugly as the Memphis Grizzlies are just 4-24 on the road while Houston is 26-6 at home. Regardless of the winning margin, I like the OVER. Memphis can't play defense on the road and Houston should score early and often. The Rockets' offense is clicking right now, averaging 105 per game over their last five games, puttin' up triple-digits in four of them. Houston also gave up 100+ in three of those games so Memphis should get enough here to help our OVER cause. The Rockets are 20-11 OVER this season coming off a home game and Memphis has been an OVER team on the road this season.
