Seattle won after blowing a 16-point lead in NY last night when Marbury missed a game tying free throw with one second left. It marked just the 7th win on the road for Seattle this season. Seattle has also won on the road just three times in their last 21 road games. Philadelphia has come off of a 5-29 stretch, to suddenly go 12-9. They have been 8-3-1 ATS as a home favorite, and have also covered at a 5-1-1 ATS clip in their last seven games. This is a changed team, winning and playing confident at home. Seattle showed fatigue last night, and must come in here on back-to-back nights, so we will ride the Sixers here.

Sometimes when a top player goes down on a bad team, the end result is some of the younger players get their baptism by fire so to speak. The Celtics having Paul Pierce back, and some of the young players maturing with extra minutes, have suddenly looked good. They have now won four straight and have covered 8 of 10. One of those wins was at Houston. Houston has really been struggling to find offense, as they have scored in the 70s in five of their last 15 games, and carry a losing record during this stretch at 7-8. Boston is playing better than Houston, and at home the 6 points is likely due to an over-reaction of Ming returning to the Houston line-up. Ming looked rusty as he scored 16 points, but on 5-15 shooting. Go with the Celtics to at the very least, keep this one close.

This is a sheer numbers game. LA will be missing Walton, Radmonovic, and Odom for sure. Bryant has a hyper-extended elbow, but l will likely play unless he gets suspended. K. Brown has a severe ankle sprain but will try to go. Mo Evans has a sore knee, but will also try to go. Milwaukee is certainly proven to be a dangerous team with Redd back in the line-up. The Lakers have lost 15 of their last 22 games, and only covered 9 of 26. The injuries are mounting, and we will back the Bucs here.

Charlotte has now played three of four to the UNDER since Omeka Okafor has gone down with a calf injury. Phoenix is always given a few extra points in their game totals because of the public perception of their high-scoring offense. That has in fact made more of their games go UNDER, rather than OVER, and they are currently riding a four game UNDER streak themselves. Should this game get away from Charlotte, expect Phoenix to rest and shorten the game, and fall a good deal short of this lofty total.
