Basketball Predictions - March 02, 2010

We split our NBA picks last night 1-1 for a slight gain. Today, we hit the NBA floor with one premium pick.

Today's NBA Basketball Picks:

Game: Boston at Detroit (7:30 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Detroit +4.5 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7)

It seems utterly amazing, but the Boston Celtics appeared to have aged overnight. They aren't getting the same production out of the Big 3 - already in year 3, and injuries and age have slowed them down. The Celtics went from a team that started the season 23-5 and appeared headed for the NBA Eastern Conference crown, but the wheels have fallen off and a loss at home to New Jersey sets a new low for this club. The Celtics are now 13-16 in their last 29 games. They are just 8-20 ATS. The Pistons are a shell of what they once were, but if the Nets can get a piece of the Celts on the road, then the Pistons certainly can get it done at home. I have to fade the Celtics until they show something different, but each day is a struggle right now. I'll go with Detroit here.
