The Mavericks are closing out a tough road trip and this is a spot where I think they can fall. This is their fifth straight road game and they have to be looking forward to getting home. I don't think they'll bring their A-game to this one against lowly New York, a team that has lost five of their last seven games including a double-digit loss the last game out. If the Mavs don't bring it emotionally here, they could find themselves in trouble vs. a Knicks team that is looking to do well here after their 10-point loss to the Lakers. The Knicks can score with the best of them in this building as they average 102.3 per game here. Since last season, New York is 51-37 ATS as a dog and 26-15 ATS having lost 3+ of their last four games. But here's the real kicker: Since the arrival of Mike D'Antoni, the Knicks are 34-19 ATS vs. winning teams including 15-3 ATS vs. teams in the .600 to .700 range! Take New York plus the points here.
