We rate each pick 1 to 5 units with 5 being the strongest play (read about units).
Risk 1% of your bankroll per unit (never risk more than 5% of total bankroll on any pick).
Game: Miami at Washington (7:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 3 units on Game Total OVER 201 -110
Washington had a two-game slump at home against Portland and San Antonio where they scored just 73 and 83 points. Over their last 19 home games this team has been a scoring machine. They have averaged 108-points per game over those 19 games! Although they give up points just as fast, outside of that two-game slump they have been 13-4 to the OVER.
Game: Toronto at Houston (8:30 PM Eastern) Pick: 3 units on Toronto +5
Toronto is one of the most improved teams in the NBA, and each game seems to get a bit better. They have now won 18 of 25 or 72%, and that puts them in the elite category. They are 17-7 ATS on the road, and 20-7 ATS in their last 27 games on the road against teams with a winning record. Houston is only 11-16 ATS at home this year and is just 6-5 overall in their last 11 games. Houston also lost to a Celtics team that hasn't been able to win anywhere at home last time out. We like the points on the road where we feel a team can win SU, and Toronto may surprise!
Game: Golden St. at Chicago (8:30 PM Eastern) Pick: 5 units on Golden St. +12
Make no mistake we are aware of the injuries here for Golden State, but this is a system offense and that is why they have eight double-digit scorers, so their scoring isn't run through any one player. There will still be a minimum of five double-digit scorers on the floor here, and depending on game-time decisions there may be seven! The only team that has posted a double-digit line against this team all season is Phoenix. The Bulls aren't exactly in the middle of a hot streak. The offense has sputtered to put up 90 points, as they have failed to do so in three of their last six games, and are coming off of two losses and just four wins in their last 11 games. The Bulls haven't exactly had their way with this team either. They have lost the last three games at Golden St. by an average of 17-ppg, and won here last year by a single point, and two years ago they needed OT to squeeze out a win. Way too many points here.
