Three of the last five games between these two teams have gone OVER, and there are lots of trends pointing to this one making that four of six. Miami has been 42-27 to the OVER against a team with a losing record over the last two years. They have also been 12-2 this year vs. teams that average 99+ points a game, and they are also 20-9 to the OVER on the road this year.

Dallas is at it again, as the latest streak has reached 11 games. Odds-makers are making it impossible to play on Dallas, and all the value is now against them in the right spot. This is the exact same line that was offered to a 4-25 Memphis team, which shows how the number has been padded. Atlanta is 12-17 on the road, but more importantly has been 12-4 on the road going back to last year as a +9.5 point dog or more. The value here is in the Hawks.

It has been a long year for Memphis. They have tried to play slow, they have tried to play fast, but don’t have the talent to make anything work. Denver has now lost four straight games, but the last three have been to Dallas, Utah and San Antonio, so Memphis is going to be a different game for them, and Denver is hungry for a win. Memphis, is 0-12 on the season after a win, and has lost 11 of the 12 by six or more points, and 8 of the 12 by double digits. We look for Denver to cruise to a well needed, comfortable win on the road.

Houston has been one of the best defensive teams at home over the years. This year they allow just 88.6-points per game (PPG) at home. The Celtic's can't seem to find the win column on the road, and the scoring has been hard to come by against the defensive minded teams. The Houston defense has allowed them to play UNDER when they are a 3.5-9.5-points home favorite in 52 of their last 85 games, so we will ride the UNDER here.

These teams often engage in high-scoring games. Four of the last five here have gone over the total, including the last two games, which saw 222, and 234 points scored. Utah has been really scoring lately, as they have averaged 104.5-ppg in their last 17. The Lakers are also on an offensive roll, having averaged 109.2-ppg over their last five. The history is high scoring between these two, and each team is clicking offensively right now, so we will play the OVER here.
