Both of these teams have been playing good basketball and are playoff bound. One thing that has been apparent for Indiana is that they don't seem to play up-and-down basketball when they head out on the road after a home stand as they are 25-10 to the UNDER right after a more than two games at home. Toronto has followed a defensive game with another, to the tune of playing to the UNDER after an UNDER, in 22 of 31 games. Both times these teams met each other this season they played low-scoring games, expect the same here.

There is nothing more humiliating to an athlete than getting beat bad by another team. There is also nothing an athlete likes better than getting another crack at that same team right away. Detroit just humiliated Orlando in Detroit by 22 points. Now it is payback time. Orlando has played poorly lately, but not at home, where they have won four of five games including a win over San Antonio. Detroit beat Atlanta earlier in the season by 27 points, and then went there and lost. Last year they beat Philadelphia by 20 points, and didn't cover the next game. Detroit also beat Toronto by 33 points and didn't cover the next game. They have Chicago at home next, and may not show up for this one.

Both of these teams have been scoring a lot of points lately, but one thing that is a key ingredient here is Seattle. This team has historically been a high-scoring team when they play often, but when they have a break in the schedule it seems like they take a few games to get going. Seattle has played to the UNDER 68% of the time covering 50 games when they are playing just their second game in seven days. We also like the fact that the first time these two teams met they scored 10 points less than this total. It adds to a trend that these teams have set, by playing to the UNDER in 14 of their last 23 games.

Memphis became a run-and-gun team about midway through the season and has put up some serious points. Portland has now joined the ranks of the running as they have put up 100+ points in 7 of their last 12 games after doing so just nine times prior in 44 games. They have also given up nine, 100+ point games in their last 12. Memphis will certainly love that pace and we look for this one to be well into the 100-point range from each side. They met earlier in the season and put up 267 points!

The Lakers have really struggled lately, winning just 4 of their last 16 games. But what is even worse is that they have been 5-15 ATS in their last 20 games. Boston has been losing at a higher rate than any team, but the amazing part is they are highly competitive on the road. Despite losing 10 straight games on the road, they have covered nine of them and pushed the other. They have been 20-7 ATS on the road. So although their record is horrible, they have slid under the radar as the best road cover team in the NBA!
