Basketball Betting Pick - February 18, 2009

We missed our lone pick last night.  However, over the last three months our NBA picks are still hitting 57% at 167-124 for +89.7 units.  Today we have one premium 4-unit selection.

Today's NBA Basketball Picks:

Game: Memphis at Portland (10:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 4 units on Memphis +11.5 (-110) (risk 4 to win 3.6)

The Grizzlies went through a dreadful 2-20 run, but have regrouped and the young talent is beginning to gel. The 22 game stretch featured 14 where the Grizzlies lost by 10+. Things have been different lately as they have posted wins in four of their last seven, including a couple good teams in New Orleans and Houston. Blazers in a bit of a down cycle right now as they have dropped three out of five and have covered just one of those, and three of the last four have been vs teams with losing records and they suffered straight up losses in two of those. Grizzlies turnaround shows them at 6-2 ATS in their last six as a dog of 11 or more, and I'll back them with the points in this one.
