The Wizards don't win a lot, but they do have a winning record at home vs losing teams. They have some extra incentive here tonight, facing a Timberwolves team that beat them handily on the road by 12. The T-Wolves haven't been much of a threat on the road winning just four of 27. They step up on occasion on the road, catching the good teams napping, but the sub-.500 teams sniff a win when they come in and seldom let the opportunity pass. The T-Wolves are 0-10 straight up on the road vs losing teams, not named the New Jersey Nets. The last seven have all been losses of 11 points or more and the last four all by 22 or more. The average loss on the road to these ten losing teams has been 19.6ppg. E~nough said. Washington gets the call here.

Playing without Chris Paul for the long term isn't a healthy situation for the Hornets, but teams tend to over compensate for a loss of a key player. Such has been the case for the Hornets this season. They have played 14 games this season without their masterful, and talented, point guard and have risen up to go 9-5 ATS as well as 8-3 ATS as a dog. When you consider the fact they are just 17-22 ATS with him, two things are happening. The team is stepping up, while the oddsmakers are over-compensating the line, pushing a lot of value their way. Hornets are 18-6 ATS in their last 24 as a dog and 10-1 ATS in their last 11 vs a team with a winning percentage of .600+. Live dog here, backing New Orleans.

The Atlanta Hawks have become a top tea, and when it comes to playing against the teams that are under .500, the one thing they do consistently is score. The Hawks have played 17 games this season vs losing teams and they have produced at least 100 points in 15 of them! They will definately score here. They have averaged 109ppg! The Clippers aren't playing very defensively right now allowing 106.8ppg in their last nine. It looks like Atlanta is headed for close to 110 here and that certainly would put the value on the OVER, which is also 9-2 in their last 11 vs teams below .400. Clippers mark as a dog from 5-10.5 shows a 7-2 mark to the OVER in their last nine. These teams have also played nine of their last 13 meetings to the OVER. I will go with the OVER in this one.
