We rate each pick 1 to 5 units with 5 being the strongest play (read about units).
Risk 1% of your bankroll per unit (never risk more than 5% of total bankroll on any pick).
Game: Boston at Atlanta (7:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 3 units on Atlanta -2.5
Atlanta has done a good job with the poor teams at home winning and covering the last 5 of 6. Boston is just so injured right now and it is hard to recognize who is on the court on a nightly basis. They have 10 players either out or questionable. Atlanta has to be looking to lay one on the Celtics for the 21-point pasting they took in Boston less than a month ago. The Hawks are 7-3 over the last 10 home games and playing well on their own court Atlanta should cruise to a comfortable win.
Game: Miami at Charlotte (7:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 units on Game Total OVER 190 -110
These teams have put up no less than 195 points per game in their last five meetings. Four of those five meetings have topped the 200-point mark. There will be no Shaq tonight, so the middle will be open for Charlotte and I'm sure they will try to get up-and-down against the injured Heat. Charlotte has been a different team in the last quarter of the season and has really played up-tempo, as they have averaged 104-ppg in their last 17. We all saw Miami give up a lot of points without Shaq in the middle, so we will go OVER the total on this one.
Game: Indiana at Philadelphia (7:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 3 units on Philadelphia +2
This is a different Philly team than we saw earlier in the year that was complicated by the Iverson distraction. They have really come together and have now gone 13-7 in their last 20 games. They may not be ready to tackle the elite of the NBA, but at home against teams that are below .500, they have now won 10 of 11. Indiana has struggled mightily down the stretch, and has been horrible on the road vs. teams that are 500+ at home, having gone just 4-14 ATS. Philly here.
Game: Sacramento at Memphis (8:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 units on Sacramento -2.5 Pick: 2 units on Game Total UNDER 219.5 -110
Memphis appears to be playing out the string now. Sacramento has been in a scoring mode having scored 100+ points in three straight games. Teams that have scored 105+ in three straight have gone 98-53 ATS. Sacramento is also in a strong revenge situation. When teams are in a revenge situation off of a straight-up loss as favorite, and also off a home loss, they have been 77-38 ATS, but this is a different role. The UNDER has ruled 4 of the last 5 games played at Memphis and Sacramento is also 6-2 to the UNDER as a road favorite, and 6-2 to the UNDER on the road against a team with a losing record, so we like both Sacramento and the UNDER here.
