![]() Today's NBA Basketball Picks: The Toronto Raptors played at a high level after the All-Star break, but have lost the consistency and edge, and have fallen fast. They are just 7-14 in their last 21 games, after going 20-7 in their previous 27 games. The Cavs have lost just six games here over a two-year period, and this line is not where it needs to be. The Cavs have won 10 straight on this court, and the Raptors have been a horrible road team all season as they are also just 20-41 ATS after an ATS loss. They are also 19-39-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning home record. I'll back Cleveland in this one, even with the expected rested starters.Game: Detroit at Philadelphia (7:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 3 units on Detroit +4 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7) The Pistons have not been much on the road, but the Sixers really haven't done anything at home. Philadelphia comes into this one with a 6-16 ATS mark in their last 22 in the role of a favorite, so you can't rely on a big effort here. The Pistons have dropped 11 in a row, finally getting a cover in their last game. They have done a very good job in Philly where they are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 vs. the Sixers. I'll go with Detroit in this one.Game: Milwaukee at Chicago (8:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 3 units on Milwaukee +6.5 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7) The Milwaukee Bucks are arguably the most-improved team in the NBA from the beginning of the season to this point in early April. The Bucks once stood at 18-25, but are now eight games over .500 as they have been 24-9 since. Additionally, the oddsmakers have failed to recognize the vast improvement and the Bucks are also 29-8 ATS over their last 37 games. It has been a struggle for the Bulls who were seen last year extending the Celtics to seven games, but they truly miss Ben Gordon and sit below .500 and look to be shutout from the playoffs. The Bucks have grabbed the money in 13 of their last 16 as a dog, and I like them in this one.Game: Oklahoma City at Utah (9:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 3 units on Utah -5.5 (-110) (risk 3 to win 2.7) The Jazz have a very strong home-court advantage. They seldom take the night off on their home court where they have now won nine straight, covering eight of those, failing only as a double-digit favorite. They will also have a revenge motive for an 8-point loss on the road to the Thunder. It has certainly been a good season for the Thunder as they have gotten the franchise turned around with some good drafting. They will however, have a monumental task vs. the Jazz who are now 23-6 ATS after a straight-up loss, and 33-15-3 ATS overall in their last 51 games. This one goes to the revenging Jazz. Results: 3-1 ![]() NBA Basketball Picks Resources:
