Sports Handicapping Free Mlb Picks - September 15, 2008

Our MLB picks finished 3-1 yesterday to grab +6 units. Today we feature one premium MLB play.

Today's MLB Baseball Picks:

Game: Seattle at Kansas City (8:10 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Kansas City -141 (moneyline) (risk 3 to win 2.1)

Not only is Seattle a bad team but right now they are a cold bad team, losing four straight. Add a dreadful Carlos Silva to that mix, and the Mariners are not in a winning situation. Silva won three of his first four starts, but since then he has won just once, and has not recorded a win since the All-Star break. The numbers are ugly as his 6.53 ERA is not really reflective of the bulk of his season, as he has pitched to an ERA of over eight since May 1, and almost 12 over his last six starts. Kyle Davies has allowed three runs or less in 14 of 18 starts on the season. There is a lot of wiggle room here for the Royals, who I will back in this one.
