Mlb Pick - September 10, 2008
We split our picks yesterday (2-2) for a slight loss. One premium MLB pick today.
Today's MLB Baseball Picks:
Game: Oakland at Detroit (1:05 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Oakland +193 (moneyline) (risk 3 to win 5.8)
The Oakland offense averaged 2.5 runs a game for nearly a month and a half, has shown some life lately as they have an average of over six runs a game in their last six, and they have now won three out of four games. How significant is that? The A's had only won three of four one other time since the All-Star break, so I am catching a very juiced line here with a team on the up-tick. The A's also hold a 5-3 advantage on the season over the Tigers, who have been an utter disappointment in '08. While the A's offense is suddenly producing runs the Tiger staff has been a mess. They have allowed 109 runs in their last 16 games or 6.8 a game. I'm backing the A's here who have suddenly found an offense over a Tiger staff and pen that can't record outs.
