We missed the mark with our MLB picks yesterday going 0-2.  However, we are still holding strong at 208-150 for +132.8 units  over the past three months.  Today we have two premium picks for you.

Today's MLB Baseball Picks:

Game: Seattle at Los Angeles Angels (10:05 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Seattle +190 (moneyline) (risk 3 to win 5.7)

Looking back three weeks ago, the Angels offense was clicking. It may surprise most that the Angel offense had produced more runs than that of the high powered Yankees. That has changed dramatically. The Angels offense has hit a rut and it has led them to just a 9-10 record in their last 19 games. They have failed to produce more than three runs in 11 of them or 58% of the time. It has gotten even worse of late as they have plated three or less in six of their last seven games. That makes it difficult when you have the #25 ranked bullpen in baseball, regardless of who starts the game. Ian Snell has given the Mariners a lift and is pitching better than he has all season.  The M's are now 4-0 in his last four starts and have also won five of their last six vs a righthand starter. I'll go with Seattle in this one.

No matter how good a team is it is a long season, teams will streak and slump regardless of how good or bad they are. The Angel offense is really struggling right now as they have lost more than they have won for the last three plus weeks. They have scored three or less in 11 of their last 19, but recently an even worse scenario as they have scored three or less in six of their last seven. The bullpen ranks 25th, and giving up +1.5 runs with an ice-cold offense isn't value at all. Then you take a Seattle team 5-1 in their last six against righthanders and a hot pitcher in Ian Snell, who has led them to four straight wins. You have positive value on the plus side of this one and I'll back the Mariners on the runline.
