Pick: 2 stars on Chicago White Sox -201 (risk 200 to win 100)

Cleveland has trouble winning on the road. They reall have trouble with Fausto Carmona on the mound. He's 1-8 on the season. Countering for Chicago is Jon Garland with his 3.84 ERA at home and 1.96 ERA over his last three starts. Cleveland is 20-40 vs. good teams (54%+) during second-half play over the past three years. They are also 13-23 this year on the road vs. division opponents. Take Garland and the White Sox at home.

Pretty even pitching matchup between Tejada and Washburn but I give the slight edge to Washburn, especially at home. Seattle has won 11 of 16 games behind great defense and pitching. They hit better against righties like Tejada. Take Washburn and the Mariners who are finding all sorts of ways to win right now.

Jason Marquis is just 14-13 on the season. On the road he's 6-7 with a 5.23 ERA. That just isn't going to cut it. Brandon Webb on the other hand is 14-6 with a 3.14 ERA. At home he's ridiculous with an 8-1 record and 2.86 ERA. The Cards are a shell of their 2005 team. They are just 33-39 on the road and over their past seven games, they have scored 3.1 runs per game. Arizona scores 5.1 per game at home. St. Louis is 0-9 this year as a dog of +125 to +175 as they live down to expectations. Arizona and Webb.
