Today's MLB Baseball Picks:

Game: Minnesota at Toronto (7:05 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Minnesota +100 (moneyline) (risk 3 to win 3)

The Toronto Blue Jays held their own early in the AL East, and actually had the division lead at one point as they opened the season 27-15. What has happened since hasn't been pretty. The Jays have become one of the worst teams in baseball as they have gone 34-61 over their last 95 games. They are just 16-35 against teams with a winning record, and much worse lately as they have been 8-23 in their last 31. Left-hand pitching has also been giving them fits, as they are just 3-10 in their last 13 against southpaws. The Twins are playing much better of late at 11-5 over their last 16, so  I'll go with them in this one.
Game: Seattle at Los Angeles Angels (10:05 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Los Angeles Angels -1.5 runs +180 (runline) (risk 2 to win 3.6)
The Yankees are known as a huge offensive team, but right on their tail at 5.6 runs a game, are the LA Angels. There is something else that goes into this game, and that is the fact the Seattle Mariners are the lowest scoring team in the AL against left-hand pitchers where they are scoring just 3.8 runs a game, and they have failed on the road as a dog 68% of the time at 19-40. Hernandez has pitched well for the Mariners, but even he can't win on the road when he is facing a lefthander as the Mariners are just 1-6 in his last seven road starts against a left-handed pitcher. The Mariners aren't doing it in LA either as they are just 9-20 here in their last 29 games. I'm going with the Angels in this one on the runline.
