![]() Today's MLB Baseball Picks: Scott Feldman can pitch, evidenced by his 17-8 mark from a year ago, but he had problems and the Rangers tried to use him out of the bullpen to straighten them out. After two consecutive scoreless outings they feel he is ready to take the ball once again. Shaun Marcum has pitched relatively well, but has really been subjected to the long ball recently, serving up nine in his last six starts. It could be fatigue as Marcum sat out last year with an injury, and his innings are already the highest in his big league career. The Rangers bring in a 19-7 mark behind Feldman on the road with a high total, posted from 9-10.5. The Jays are just 1-6 when Marcum starts after making a quality start in his last outing. I'll go with Texas here.Game: Seattle at Oakland (10:05 PM Eastern) Pick: 5 units on Oakland -190 (moneyline) (risk 5 to win 2.6) Pick: 3 units on Game Total UNDER 7 -120 (risk 3 to win 2.5) The Seattle Mariners’ offense is really not of major league caliber, and on the road it causes severe problems. Early in the year they had both Cliff Lee and Felix Hernandez, but have since traded Lee. The Mariners have won just 10 games on the road all season not started by the two mentioned above. The Mariners have now gone 11 straight games without scoring more than 3 runs, and in their last 15 games scored 4 just once, and never topped the 4-run mark. The A's have been held to 3 runs or less 65 times themselves. The Mariners sport just a 13-43 mark in their last 56 as a road dog. They may not fare well here as Braden has pitched to an 18-3 mark to the UNDER in his last 21 starts vs. the AL West. The A's are bringing home the bacon as a home favorite at 44-21 in their last 65. I like Oakland and the UNDER here. ![]() MLB Baseball Picks Resources:
