Mlb Baseball Pick Online - September 05, 2008
We finished 1-2 yesterday losing -3.1 units. Today we go with one MLB premium pick. Over the last two and a half weeks our MLB run has produced +14.1 units while hitting 55% (28-23).
Today's MLB Baseball Picks:
Game: Pittsburgh at San Francisco (10:15 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on San Francisco -1.5 runs +174 (runline) (risk 3 to win 5.2)
The Pirates unloaded the middle of their lineup and the heart of their bullpen. Well the fire sale has taken its toll on this season, as they have now gone 8-22 over their last 30, and a 20-loss September would not be shocking. Zach Duke, once a promising lefthander, has fallen far short of those expectations and the Pirates have all of one win to show for his last nine starts. Duke is yielding nearly seven runs a contest, losing all but one game by two runs or more. This smells like a sweet valued runline play getting tremendous odds in a very winnable situation, so I'll back the runline with the Giants here.
