They score 5.8 runs per game here while San Francisco scored 4.3 on the road and just 4.0 vs. LHP. The Rockies got off to a bad start at 18-27, but have since played .576 baseball (53-39). The Giants are coming off the high-point of their season having gone 11-2, but have fallen back to 1-4 and are looking more like the 62-76 team we have seen most of the year. Tim Lincecum, after a stretch of eight starts giving up 3 earned runs just once, has given up 3 or more in his last four, and has a 5.40 ERA in this recent stretch. Lincecum was skipped in the rotation, as he is reaching his innings limit, so don't expect him to pitch deep into this game. Franklin Morales gets the ball for the Rockies. He worked five innings vs. the Giants in San Francisco, holding them to 2 runs over five innings. The Rockies have been money as a home dog, as they have posted a 12-2 record in their last 14, while the Giants have been money burners as a road chalk, posting a 6-9 mark on the season. San Francisco also struggles against winning teams (30-44 this season). We like the Rockies to make it two straight.
