darrell,
St. Louis surprised the Tigers with an offensive explosion in game one. The question going into that game was whether the long layoff would help or hinder Detroit. I guess we know the answer to that. Will the Tigers drop two in a row? Very unlikely.

Game: St. Louis at Detroit (8:15 PM Eastern) Pick: 3 units on Detroit -174 (risk 3 to win 1.72)
The Tigers were obviously rusty in game one as they committed three erorrs and got just as many hits. Kenny Rogers goes in a must-win game for them. He's been phenomenal so far in the playoffs, allowing just 7 hits and no runs in 15 innings. Rogers has been extremely tough to hit at home all season (9-2 with 2.74 ERA). Jeff Weaver has been an odd one. Just 10-15 on the year with a 5.44 ERA, he's found his stride in the playoffs. But, we still have the give the big edge here to Rogers. Last night was St. Louis' first win against the Tigers this year. With the rust shaken off, I expect the Tigers to perform much better tonight. With Rogers pitching, the Tigers are 19-4 this season in the favorite role. The Cards, despite their win last night, are just 2-13 as a road dog of +125 to +175 this year and 10-22 on the road vs. winning teams. Detroit should even the series up tonight and we'll back them.

| How
much to bet? I recommend that you risk between 2% and 5% of your bankroll on each game (1-star = 2%, 2-star = 2.5%, 3-star = 3%, 4-star = 4% and 5-star = 5% of bankroll). It is strongly recommended that
you never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on any given
game! Remember, there are no such thing as locks.
Never bet over your head and you'll live to see another
day. Approach your bets as an investment that grows steadily
over the long-term. For more, see
