NBA Note: We opened the NBA Finals with a 2-1 performance and are back today with several selections on game 2.

Today's MLB Baseball Picks:
Game: Seattle at Boston (1:35 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Boston -137 (moneyline) (risk 3 to win 2.2)
Pick: 2 units on Game Total UNDER 9.5 -130 (risk 2 to win 1.5)
The Red Sox have won seven of their last nine games. They have averaged 5.9 runs per game over that span and that includes one game in which they were blanked! They face Erik Bedard here who has the name but not the performance this year. On the road he's got an 8.85 ERA and in his last three starts he's lasted just 4.9 innings on average. Young Justin Masterson has been stellar in three apperances for the Sox, posting a 2.95 ERA. Seattle averaged just 4.1 runs per game and they have lost 13 of 17 games and Bedard doesn't have his stuff right now. Boston is 21-4 this season at home vs. teams that hit .265 or worse! This line should be much higher and as such, we'll jump on Boston. We also like the UNDER. Seattle can't score and Boston has favored the UNDER at home this season. Boston and the UNDER here.
Game: Milwaukee at Colorado (3:05 PM Eastern)Pick: 3 units on Colorado -119 (moneyline) (risk 3 to win 2.5)
Don't look now but the Rockies are on a winning streak! They aim for their fifth straight win at home vs. the Brewers. Milwaukee hasn't beaten the Rockies in six tries. Jeff Francis takes the mound and he's off a great performance vs. the Dodgers, allowing just four hits and no runs in seven innings. Jeff Suppan goes for Milwaukee and he has lost his last four road starts. In his road starts vs. NL teams averaging under 4.4 runs per game, Suppan is just 5-19! The Brewers average just 4.3 runs poer game on the road and 4.1 vs. LHP. Colorado gets 4.8 per game at home. The Brew Crew is 14-30 the past two seasons as a small road dog (+100 to +125). We'll back the hot Rockies with their ace at a very reasonable price here.
Game: New York Mets at San Diego (4:00 PM Eastern)Pick: 4 units on San Diego +133 (moneyline) (risk 4 to win 5.3)Pick: 2 units on Game Total OVER 8.5 +100 (risk 2 to win 2)
The Pads have won the first three in this series. We rode them in the last two and will stay on this train as they go for the sweep. The Mets remain under .500 thanks in large part to their play on the road. While 17-11 at home, they are just 13-20 on the road, batting just .249. Over their past seven games they are hitting .228 and averaging just 3.6 runs per game. San Diego surely doesn't have an offense that inspires fear but they are getting it done. Their offense hasn't kept them from finding the win column as they have won nine of their last thirteen games. They also seem to have the Mets' number right now. New york is just 7-14 this season after a good defensive performance (holding opponent to 2 runs or less) and 7-21 after two straight road games. This game has a low total set at 8.5 with +100 juice. The Mets are 21-12 OVER this season to a total under 9. Over the past three seasons, Pedro is a perfect 8-0 OVER on the road when the total is set between 8.5 and 10. The Padres are 27-11 OVER the past three seasons after holding four straight opponents to under 5 runs. San Diego and the OVER here.
Game: New York Mets at San Diego (4:05 PM Eastern)Pick: 4 units on San Diego +1.5 runs -132 (runline) (risk 4 to win 3)
We also like the Pads on the +1.5 run line as we expec them to stay close, even if they don't win. The Mets this season are 5-16 to the run line after allowing 2 runs or less! San Diego is 31-10 at home to the +1.5 run line the past three seasons. We'll back them here at +1.5.
Results: 5-1
