Game: Toronto at Oakland (4:05 PM Eastern) Pick: 1 star on Toronto +154 (risk 100 to win 154)
Barry Zito has not looked great of late posting a 5.29 ERA and going just 5.7 innings per start over his last three starts. Against Boston in his last outing he gave up 7 earned runs in just five innings. Toronto loves facing lefties as they are 17-14 against them putting up 5.6 runs per game. Over their last six games, they have scored 6 runs per game on average. Oakland meanwhile continues to struggle offensively. They have scored just 4.2 per game at home this season. The Blue Jays are 20-14 this season as an underdog of +125 to +175 and I like their chances here.
Game: Cincinnati at Milwaukee (7:05 PM Eastern) Pick: 3 stars on Cincinnati +125 (risk 300 to win 375)
Milwaukee has dissapointed all season long and traded away All-Star Carlos Lee on Friday. Tonight they are favored against the Reds due to Cincinnati's start of a rookie - Justin Germano. But Germano posted a 3.69 ERA in 19 AAA appearances and his counterpart, Doug Davis, has struggled this season going 6-6 with a 5.01 ERA. The Reds have won five of seven while Milwaukee has lost seven of nine. Cincinnati scores 5.9 runs per game vs. left handed starters and with Milwaukee's poor bullpen play, I see the Reds scoring eno0ugh to win here.

The Wunderdog
Sports Picks and Handicapping Info
Based on

| How
much to bet? I recommend 1% of your bankroll for every
star. A one-star pick = 1% of bankroll. A five-star pick
= 5% of bankroll. It is strongly recommended that
you never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on any given
game! Remember, there are no such thing as locks.
Never bet over your head and you'll live to see another
day. Approach your bets as an investment that grows steadily
over the long-term. For more, see
my write-up on Bankroll
Management. |
