Lance Berkman knocked in four runs last night to catapult the Astros over the Reds. He leads the NL in RBIs with 92 and offense again today could be the difference (that and home field advantage). Both of these starters have losing records but Buccholz is a winner at home while Ramirez a loser on the road. The Astros are 17-6 at home as a small favorite of -100 to -125 and 41-24 at home vs. winning teams the past two seasons. Astros again tonight.

Baltimore won a rare one on the road last night but tongiht they will struggle to do the same. Rodrigo Lopez hason't won on the road in two months. He's 1-6 away from home with a 7.85 ERA! Jimmy Gobble hasn't fared much better but he's not as bd as Lopez on the road. And, KC is decent at home. Baltimore has only won 15 of their last 45 road games and again they face another lefty - which they have trouble hitting. Gobble is actually 11-2 the last three seasons in expected high-scoring games (total 10+). Home teams at +125 to -125 starting a pitcher whose WHIP is 1.800 or worse after a game where the bullpen gave up no runs are 37-15 (71%) over the past decade. KC at home for even money is a very good value again.
