Today's MLB Baseball Picks:
Game: Kansas City at Seattle (4:10 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Game Total UNDER 7 -110 (risk 3 to win 2.7)
Zack Greinke has posted a 2.43 ERA this season, going seven full innings on average in the process. He's allowed just 49 earned runs and 39 walks in 181 innings pitched, while striking out 197. Over his last three starts he's gone 22 innings, allowing just six runs while striking out 30 batters! Seattle, a team that averaged just 4.0 runs per game overall and at home, and 3.8 per game in day-games, is going to struggle here to touch him. Kansas City also struggles to score as they average just 3.6 runs per game on the road and 3.4 in day games. They face another hot pitcher in Ryan Rowland-Smith who has posted a 3.18 ERA in his five home starts. The Mariners have gone 20-8 UNDER this season vs. starting pitchers with good control (those averaging under two walks per game). The Royals are 14-4 UNDER on the road this season in day games. I like this one to come in under seven runs.

The Cincinnati Reds hung in the NL Central race for awhile, but those hopes have all disappeared as this team has sunk hard and fast, thanks to a bad run of 12-28 in their last 40 games. The Reds are ...

Last year the Tampa Bay Rays surprised everyone by making it all the way to the world series. They have been good this season, but not nearly as good as a season ago. One thing that hasn't changed...

The Rays have been almost impossible to beat at home, but very suspect on the road where they are nine games below .500. It is also no secret that they are more vulnerable to lefthand pitching as well...
