Oakland has found all sorts of ways of winning of late. Yesterday they came back from an eight run deficit to win and they are now 15-4 in August (league best). Brad Halsey takes the mound to try to keep the winning going. He has pitched below average lately but has a respectable 3-3 record and 4.50 ERA overall. AJ Burnett has done very well for the Blue Jays, making them the favorite here. But I like Oakland's momentum and offense right now. They are scoring 6.3 runs per game over their past seven while Toronto is getting just 4.9. The Jays are 1-8 after a high scoring game this season (10+ runs). Oakland is hot right now.

The Royals have been one of the few teams to hand Oakland any losses in August. They did it by playing good ball at home. As in the Oakland series, they find themselves as home underdogs here. They are 5-1 vs. Cleveland here in KC this season. At home they score 5.2 runs per game. Cleveland is just 24-37 on the road. Both teams are facing left handed starters which is not good for either offense. Cleveland is 10-21 on the road vs. division opponents and 3-14 after 6+ consecutive road games this season (this is their 7th). They are also just 11-17 as a road favorite while KC is 19-17 as a home underdog of +125 to +175. Good spot on the home dog here.
