We hit the 5-unit play yesterday but missed on the other two. Today, three more plays...
Today's MLB Baseball Picks:
Game: Milwaukee at Colorado (3:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 4 units on Colorado -120 (risk 4 to win 3.3)
The Rockies have played very good baseball of late and at home have become a very lethal team. The Rockies are now 20-5 at home in their last 25 games and 15 of those 20 wins have come to top teams. Jeff Francis has pitched very well, especially at home where the Rockies have won six straight of his starts and are 12-2 in his last 14. Milwaukee has struggled of late, and when they hit the road have been horrible. The Brew Crew is just 3-13 in their last 16 on the road and simply are not the same team, as they are at home where they are 39-20. Look for the Rockies to get the sweep in this one.
Game: Los Angeles Dodgers at Cincinnati (7:10 PM Eastern)Pick: 3 units on Cincinnati -111 (risk 3 to win 2.7)
Aaron Harang has been the savior of the Reds staff. The Reds just 48-64 are 17-6 when Harang is on the hill. A 35% winning team without him, becomes a 74% winning team with him. The Reds have been a streaky team all year, but have won three straight. They also have won 9 of their last 12 at home. The Dodgers have taken a bad turn. They have been shutout in three of their last four games. The latest shutout was already their eigth of the season, and now must face the top moneyline pitcher in baseball. The Dodgers are 2-10 over their last 12 games, producing less than 3 runs per game. That is certainly not a winning formula. The Reds will make it two in a row tonight.
Game: Pittsburgh at Arizona (9:40 PM Eastern)Pick: 3 units on Arizona -140 (risk 3 to win 2.1)
The D-backs have now gone 13-3 over their last 16 games and are making some noise in the NL West. They have tossed five shutouts in those 13 wins so it's easy to understand why they are winning. Arizona has feasted on LHP, having gone 19-12 on the season, and Paul Maholm owns just one road win vs. a winning team. The Pirates are again looking up at all the teams in the NL Central, after losing 16 of their last 21 games. The Pirates are just 5-23 vs teams with a winning record on the road, so we believe this one belongs to the D-backs to even the series.

The Indians have been slumping for a long time. The jury is out if this team is as good as it was at the start of the season. Are they good or are they the 29-30 team they have been the last 59 games?...

This is a great match-up for the Os. Erik Bedard has allowed 2 or fewer runs in 14 of his last 17 starts. That doesn't bode well for a Tampa Bay team that can't hold teams down. The D-Ray...
