Horse Racing Picks - November 30, 2010Today we''ll head back to sunny Phoenix Arizona for another 4 races form Turf Paradise that we've selected for selections and analysis. The Best Bet is #3 Indypicture in Race #2. Yesterday's Results: Turf Paradise Race # 1 = Exacta ( 2-3) pd. $36.80  Today's Horse Racing Picks: Top pick: #3 (HUMOR AND HEART) - Gelding will stretch-out in distance today off a solid 3rd place finish here at this level going 6.5 furlongs 16 days ago. One run type is improving, is in a good barn, and has a nice work her 2nd pick: #6 (Develish Jack) - Very fast early and this stretch-out sprinter has run well going two-turns in the past. Good barn (Dennis Ward) has him set for a big try on the front-end. 3rd pick: #1 (Camp Verde) - Nicely bred gelding has come back from a two month break a better runner and he's in with a very good veteran trainer (Dan McFarlane). Has speed/stalking ability and he draws the rail. Contends for the win. 4th pick: #4 (Raton Pass) - Moves back to the main-track after racing on the turf in 5 straight. Runs 3rd back off a half-year's break and he brings some back class to the contest. Gelding by "Sky Mesa" has an excellent drill a week ago that sets him up for this. TURF PARADISE Race #2 at 12:00 PM Pacific Top pick: #3 (INDYPICTURE) - Stretches back out after a wide trip and even finish at this level sprinting here Nov. 9th. Her win came going a mile at Solano on real dirt and trainer Ed Moger Jr. has put a pair of recent works into her that set her up for a big effort. The choice, and at a nice price. 2nd pick: #5 (Shadow Skills) - The probable heavy favorite comes here from Golden Gate in-shape and if you take away her turf and "poly" starts she's (3-1-1-1) on real dirt. Has enough speed to stay close through-out and she would be no surprise. Stron win candidate. 3rd pick: #2 (Mymothermarge) - Lightly rcaed, well-bred, in a good barn, and nicely spotted i hre first facing winners. Contender. 4th pick: #1 (Lily's Prayer) - Takes a big price drop this afternoon and 3yo has been racing evenly while facing tougher. Can grab a piece of this as she races in a career soft spot. TURF PARADISE Race #4 at 12:55 PM Pacific Top pick: #8 (ABSOLUTELY COOL) - Gelding draws outside of the speed and he has an edge because of it. 3yo ran well her last out at this level in his first local appearance and he can stalk early and win this turning for home. 2nd pick: #5 (Shu Biz Danny) - Fast, lightly raced, and well-bred, he finished 2nd here last out in his first race on real dirt and a repeat makes him a big threat today. 3rd pick: #4 (Run Til Sundown) - Lightly raced and speedy he goes turf to dirt for this and he ran well last out at this level on the grass. May do well at a nice price. 4th pick: #1 (Grand Topper) - Has the rail and some fine early speed. Gelding has many good efforts on his resume and races today off a two month break. He has a sharp work here earlier this month and could contend if ready. TURF PARADISE Race #5 at 1:25 PM Pacific Top pick: #9 (I'M ASHAMED) - Has excellent early speed and has a nice post at this trip to use it from. Draws outside of the other speed and he can get a good trip from there. The top pick. 2nd pick: #2 (Just Say It) - Competitive in all 4 starts, he's run well from both on and off the pace. Drops a bit for this and is an obvious win threat. 3rd pick: #7 (No Way Jose) - Drops and is working sharply for his first race since Oct. 17th. In a good barn and a win candidate at a square price. 4th pick: #8 (Afternoon Rain) - Hasting's shipper was competitive thaer in all three starts and appears to have both speed and stalking ability. Can contend if he takes to the surface. 5th pick: #10 (Theresastormcoming) - Longshot ships in from California and gelding ran well at Fairplex when debuting in late Sep.
