Horse Racing Betting Pick - June 30, 2010With Hollywood closed until tomorrow we turn our attention today to four races from the California Fair circuit at Pleasanton. The Best Bet is #1 Great Aunt Nora in Race #4 at Pleasanton. Tuesday's West Coast Results: ![]() Today's Horse Racing Picks: Top pick: #3 (GOLDEN BOW) - Wide last out at Golden Gate when dropped to this tag she's worked twice since and is in the Hollendorfer bar. The top pick. 2nd pick: #4 (Grand East Girl) - Only a 1/2 length off the top pick last out at Golden Gate and that came after a "stumbling" start. Win candidate today from a very dangerous barn (Steve Miyadi). 3rd pick: #2 (Trapper's Star) - Filly broke poorly in her debut and tired while racing very wide after rushing up to chase the pace. Nice drill since and she can factor today. Filly is one of two entered by trainer Bill Morey and they'll race uncoupled. PLEASANTON Race #4 at 2:20 PM Pacific Top pick: #1 (GREAT AUNT NORA) - "Nora" drops and shortens-up in distance. Consistent, has the rail, is in a good barn (Jeff Bonde), and she has lots of speed to rally into. The top pick she has a pair of good efforts in 2009 on real dirt ( which they run on here). 2nd pick: #5 (Don't Reiterate) - Speed/stalker has a pair of races on conventional in her past ( at Fairplex) and she raced evenly in each. In fine present shape and she draws outside of the other speed. Win candidate. 3rd pick: #3 (Contessa's Image) - Drops, goes turf to dirt, and shortens-up in distance for a very good barn (Bill Morey). Contender. 4th pick: #4 (Yasuda) - Lightly raced speed/stalker drops and shortens-up in distance today as her trainer Jed Josephson adds the "hood' for this attempt. Exotics factor. PLEASANTON Race #5 at 2:50 PM Pacific Top pick: #2 (MONICA CC) - Consistent speed/stalker should get a good pace set-up in front of her and enters this in fine present form. It's the trainer/jockey team of Hollendorfer/Baze, one of the most successful in history. The horse to beat. 2nd pick: #1 (Doubloon City ) - Races first off a Bill Morey claim ( a very strong 45% winning angle). Veteran mare loves to win and draws the rail. Her speed makes her very dangerous. 3rd pick: #6 (Red Hot Charlotte) - Consisitent stalker is in the Miyadi barn and has been in career best form at present. Win candidate from just off the lead. 4th pick: #5 (Sport's Edition) - She has a lot of back class and has won three in a row. Another racing first off a Morey claim and that alone makes her a contender. PLEASANTON Race #7 at 3:55 PM Pacific Top pick: #2 (RIVER RANCH) - Working fast for her first start since May 7th she's lightly raced and in the Morey barn. Lone win came at this distance and she has lots of pace to chase. The top selection. 2nd pick: #1 (Catch Lorraine) - Has the best early speed and she draws the rail. Lightly raced filly has prior dirt experience and is a win candidate from her inside post. 3rd pick: #3 (Taylor Jean) - Tries hard every time and has many good efforts facing tougher. Gets some class relief today and is a win candidate. 4th pick: #5 (Jessie's Knockout) - Consistent stretch runner should get a good pace set-up and is a late threat. Horse Racing Picks Resources:
